Blogging history

Sunday Social

Hi guys happy Sunday Social day!

This Weeks Questions:

1. What is the name if your blog?
Hokie Thoughts

2. What do you love most about blogging?
Lately?  That it’s a way to escape for a few minutes and answer questions about me and my life.  On occasion, it’s a way for me to vent.  Periodically, it’s a way for me to remember how I feel about certain events and things that happen in my life.

3. Why did you start blogging?
A friend of mine dared me to blog for 40 days.  Trying to come up with something to say for 40 days straight.  While Plenipotentiary gave up blogging as her kids got older and other forms of social media took over, I kept mine active.  I have taken a few ‘sabbaticals’ but always come back to it.

4. What is something you’d want to tell someone just starting out in the blog world?
Stick with it.  Take the 40 day challenge.  A few years ago I had a young friend from church that also wanted to start a blog but kept facing the same obstacles.  So I challenged her the way I had been, and she really stuck to it.

5. Biggest blogging learning experience you’ve had?
Since I never got into this for the numbers, I don’t know that there has been much of a learning experience.  I don’t court followers, I don’t sponsor advertisers, I just invite all that stumble upon my little corner of the internet to sit a spell and enjoy

6. What are three blogs you love?
I just wrote about some blogs I follow just last week, here
